What if I do not have technical drawings or NSNs?+
Submit any available information, including field photos, rough dimensions, and the component's operational function. Our engineering team will review the data to determine if a Technical Data Package already exists within our repository, or if reverse-engineering is required to support your mission readiness.
What file formats can I upload?+
Standard CAD (STEP, IGES, STL), common drawing formats (PDF, DWG, DXF), and image formats (JPG, PNG, HEIC). If in doubt, submit what you have — the engineering team can request additional formats during review.
Are there security or classification limits for submissions?+
Only Unclassified and CUI (Controlled Unclassified Information) data should be uploaded directly through this portal. For mission-critical requirements involving Classified technical data, use our secure contact options to request a SIPR-level engagement or encrypted transmission protocol.
Who can see my submission?+
Submissions are scoped to the requesting user, their unit or organization, and the VCOE engineering team. Routing to a manufacturing node only exposes the information required to produce the part.
What are the typical timelines for part delivery?+
Processing times depend on validation status. Validated components already in the TDP Library can often be dispatched within 72 hours. For new parts requiring qualification, the engineering review and production cycle typically ranges from 2 to 6 weeks depending on urgency and material complexity.
What kinds of parts are currently in scope?+
Focus is placed on non-flight-critical components, obsolete brackets, customized tooling, and mission-essential repairs for assets facing procurement delays.
Can you handle flight-critical or safety-of-flight components?+
Not at this time through the standard portal. Those parts require additional qualification pathways — contact us directly to discuss specialized engagements.
